If you can say yes to all of the above, we will come out for a 100% free mold inspection and most of the time we think you should go that route first rather than paying someone to do the service. WMF will do a thorough assessment of the property using moisture detection equipment and if they believe work is to be done, we will create a scope of work and ultimately provide you with a quote for remediation services.
Why are other companies charging for mold inspections?
The majority of the time, other companies are charging for a mold inspection because the only service they offer is mold inspections and it also includes mold testing. Whether or not you need mold testing is a whole separate topic, in fact we wrote another article title, “Do I need mold testing.” To sum things up, it never hurts to have mold testing done but it can be expensive. Seeing that WMF recommends a third party clearance test on all of our work, we usually tell our clients that they would be better off saving their money and paying for the test afterwards.
