Inspectors: No Black Mold Found in Committee Office

The Joint Committee on Legislative Service offices at the Rhode Island State House were evacuated when an employee reported finding black mold under her desk last week. Renovations were begun immediately but no mold testing was done prior to the work beginning. When that fact was discovered, state officials ordered the work stopped until testing could be done.
